История создания и модернизации Российсого водолазного шлема

Commercial production of the 3-bolt ventilated diving equipment in Russia in the 1880-s was at first arranged in the workshop of the Diving school and later presumably in the Workshop for the diving equipment in Oranienbaum (later on – the Plant №3 of the Navy).
Initially the equipment of DENAYROUSE system was used with the distribution unit Rouquayrol-Denzyrouse system. The helmet produced in 1890 has a lead-in for a hose with a bite-board used with this system (later on it was sealed) and an additional hook to hang a tank. The distribution unit was used for automatic pressure adjustment of the air received from the surface, depending on the depth where a diver was working. Later on this function was performed by the head slide available on the helmet.

On photo you can see helmet of produced in 1897 year. This helmet now in prived collection. This helmet was lifted from Baltic Sea.
